Youth killed in road accident
Islamabad ( Anantnag), Dec 27:An unknown vehicle hit and killed a youth on Wednesday in Kanelawan village of Bijbehara in this South Kashmir district.
Reports said that a motor bike borne youth Farooq Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Rasool Wani aged 35 of Mirza Kamil Sahib, Hawal area in Srinagar was hit by an unknown vehicle in Kanelwan village late in the evening on Wednesday. The youth was found injured by the locals and rushed to Sub district hospital, Bijbehara, however he succumbed on way.
“The deceased was heading towards his home from Pahalgam via Bijbehara route on his motorbike,” reports said.
They said that the youth was a whole sale stockiest of medicines by profession and gone to Pahalgamto fetch payment,” said a relative of the deceased.
He said that the Farooq was in the profession from last seven years and quite frequently used to visit Pahlagam to fetch payment from the chemists there.
