EEU to go on indefinite strike from Jan 1
Srinagar, Dec 28: The J&K Electrical Employees Union has said it will go on an indefinite strike from January 1, 2013 against Chief Engineer’s move to attach class 4th employees of Kashmir to Jammu.
The Union spokesperson said: “M&RE wing Chief Engineer has attached the class 4th officials to Jammu FCP Office on the basis of some baseless telephonic compliant. The employees have been attached on political approach.”
“This kind of approach of higher-ups is not feasible for the larger good of the functioning of the department. So it has been unanimously decided that the Union will go for an indefinite strike from January 1, 2013 against the move,” he said.
