LPG consumers of Nawab Bazar denied documents
Seek Div Com's intervention
Srinagar, Dec 28: LPG consumers of Nawab Bazar are up in arms against the New Gas Agency in the locality for what they said creating unnecessary hurdles in documentation process of cooking gas documents.
Locals alleged that despite submitting the KYC forms and other documents to the concerned gas agency they are yet to get Red book.
“I have submitted documents for issuance of LPG papers two months but I am yet to receive the Red book,” said Ajaz Ahmad, a local resident.
Locals said the oil companies have published telephone number of dealers so that consumers can seek help for them. “But people at helm of this agency never receive any call leave aside replying to our queries,” they said.
Despite repeated attempts the management of the New Gas Agency could be contacted.
The locals appealed Divisional Commissioner, Asghar Samoon to personally intervene into the matter.
