SARPANCH THRASHES POLICEMAN

Uri (Baramulla) Dec 2: A policeman was injured after he was allegedly beaten by a sarpanch at Bimyar area here in Uri on Saturday.
 Reports said the sarpanch identified as Ghulam Muhammad Khan of village Bimyar, along with his three brothers allegedly attacked the policeman Raja Aijaz Ahmad Khan injuring him. He was rushed to a local hospital and later shifted to Baramulla Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Police has lodged FIR against the accused.
