Mian Altaf bereaved
Ganderbal, Dec 4: Ayesha Begum aunt and mother in law of forest minister and senior NC leader Mian Altaf passed away at Katchnambal, 30 kms from here, on Monday night.
Ayesha Begum, 90, wife of Mian Junaid was ailing for a long time. Her funeral prayers were held at Babanagri on Tuesday afternoon.
Thousands of people participated in the last rites after which her body was laid to rest in the ancestral graveyard of Mian family at Babanagri. People from different walks of life including traders, religious leaders, politicians and officials have condoled the sad demise and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
