EC reviews Dal rehab
Srinagar, Dec 6: Estimates Committee held a meeting Thursday under the Chairmanship of MLA, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan to review rehabilitation of Dal dwellers at Rakh-e-Arth, an official handout said.
Among others, MLAs Dr Mustafa Kamal, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, Peer Afaq, AG Veeri, Ashwani Kumar and Muhammad Ashraf Mir attended the meeting.
“It was informed that 7526 kanals of land at Rakh-e-Arth will be taken up in three phases for rehabilitation of the Dal dwellers. During the first and second phase as many as 3000 kanals of land each and 1526 kanals of land during the 3rd phase shall be taken up for developing modern facilities for those to be rehabilitated,” the handout said. Besides, Vice Chairman, LAWDA, Irfan Yaseen Shah, officers of different departments attended the meeting.
