Farm Machinery Mela Held at Dooru

Islamabad (Anantnag) Dec 6: Additional District Development Commissioner Islamabad (Anantrnag) Nisar Ahmad Wani today asked the farmers to take advantage of different schemes launched by the department for them. Inaugurating 26th “Farm Machinery Mela” at Dooru, he said the government is committed to upliftment of farming community and “need of hour is to develop agriculture sector on modern scientific lines.” He said that the Valley has a great potential for cultivation of Mushroom, Flowers, Vegetable & Bee Keeping for which unemployed youth should come forward and department shall make all efforts to boost this Home Based/Income Generating Units.
