Erratic BSNL’s Shivpora tower
Srinagar: Residents of Shivpora have urged General Manager state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd to probe as to why BSNL tower goes off when electricity in the area is snapped by PDD.
“Often we have been urging BSNL officials to check why the tower goes off when electricity in the area is snapped by PDD. It seems the generator on which the BSNL tower functions is not working after PDD supply is not available,” said residents of the area.
This the residents say makes communication impossible for them as there is erratic frequency of mobile tower.
“It’s impossible to talk once the electricity goes off as it seems the generator doesn’t work after that. We urge GM BSNL to intervene and facilitate smooth running of the tower in the area,” said the residents.
