Consumers complain against gas agency
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Dec 8: Many LPG consumers of Old City today accused Zargar Gas Agency, Bohri Kadal, here of hoodwinking them. They alleged that the management of the agency was not cooperating with the consumers and instead were treating them like “beggars”.
“The consumers are waiting for months together to get their gas connections updated, yet the management of the agency is not taking any steps to address their problems,” a delegation of consumers said.
A consumer who had submitted documents for getting LPG connection from the agency said, “For two months I am running after them but they never listen to my pleas. I am seeking my documents back, I don’t want the LPG connection from them,” Zahoor Ahmad said.
The delegation members said that nobody was responding on the CAPD issued telephone numbers of gas agency.
The consumers appealed Divisional Commissioner, Dr Asgar Samoon and Director CAPD to look into the matter and take strict action against the gas agency. Repeated attempts to contact the gas agency on the numbers issued by the CAPD proved futile.
