CRPF holds medical camp
Srinagar, Dec 8: Central Reserve Police Force on Saturday organized 'Free Medical Camps' at various places in Kashmir Valley.
The camp was organized by 158 BN of CRPF at Ahmed Nagar, Soura in which free health check up was given and free medicines manufactured by reputed companies were distributed.
CRPF spokesman Sudhir Kumar said in a statement that about 1800 patients including male, female and children from Anchar, Buchpora, Elahibagh, Pandiach, Awanta Bhawan, Soura and Ganderbal area were benefited from the said medical camp.
P K Pandey, DIGP CRPF Srinagar (North) inaugurated the free medical camp held at Ahmed Nagar, Soura, Srinagar. Senior officers of CRPF, local administrations were also present at the occassion.
Speaking on the occasion Anand Jha, Commandant-158 Bn CRPF said that CRPF is committed to help the poor and needy people of the valley by organizing such free medical camps.
