Devotees throng Hazratbal

Srinagar, Feb 10:  Thousands of devotees Friday thronged Hazratbal Shrine here on the occasion of Friday following Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and offered prayers at the revered shrine.
 Rush of the devotees coming from different corners of Valley picked up at the Shrine since early hours.
 People from all walks of life including elderly and women were part of the devotee rush. All the city roads led to Hazratbal where people joined the congregational prayers to have the glimpse of the Holy Relic of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
 Besides Hazratbal, congregational prayers were also held at Asarisharif Kalashpora, Jenab Sahab Soura, Lal Bazar, Pinjoora Shopian, Khiram Sirhama in Islamabad, Seer Hamdan, Kaba Marg Qaimoh and Ahamsharief.

Commuters thank RTO
 People have appreciated the efforts put in by Regional Transport Officer, Muhammad Anees, to make smooth traffic arrangements. Compared to previous occasion the traffic arrangements were satisfactory this time. “We thank RTO and his staff for making hassle free traffic arrangements,” said a commuter.
