‘It’s against peoples’ interest’
Srinagar: Coordination Committee, Jammu and Kashmir Pharma Traders and Professionals Monday said the drug policy was “against the interests” of common people.
“The implementation of drug policy would do no good to the common people and will rather add to the intricate worries of masses. It will also create a mess in the department of Health,” said the Coordination in a statement.
“The most unfortunate part is that people are being misled about the policy. Its implementation would also render thousands of youths jobless. We want that government should come clear about the policy by discussing its pros and cons,” it said.
