JKSM, PFL condemn
Srinagar, Feb 13: J&K Salvation Movement chairman, Zaffar Akbar Bhat has condemned the killing of 20-year-old, Ashiq Hussain at Laisar Rafiabad.
Addressing public at Bulbulbagh, Hyderpora, Chralipora and Nowgam, Zaffar said that such incidents were being repeated by the armed forces due to non-accountability and black laws in Kashmir. The leader expressed sympathies with the victim’s family and reiterated to continue the peaceful struggle till its logical conclusion.
Meanwhile, condemning the killing of Ashiq Hussain, the Peoples’ Freedom League general secretary, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai sympathized with the family of martyred youth.
Ganai was addressing a condolence meeting at the residence of Shaheed Ashiq Hussain. He said, “On the one hand, New Delhi is talking of parlays to resolve Kashmir issue, and on the other, there is no let up in the killings of innocent people.”
Meanwhile, a delegation of League led by Ganai also visited the residence of senior advocate Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar and extended condolences to him on the demise of his brother Manzoor Ahmad Sodagar.
