CS for including more services under PSG Act
Jammu, Feb 15: Chairing the periodical Committee of Secretaries meeting here today, Chief Secretary Madhav Lal reviewed the extension of new services under the J&K Public Service Guarantee Act.
The CSdirected the Administrative Secretaries to provide information to General Administrative Department about additional services to be brought under the ambit of the Act in a time bound manner. This is in addition to the 45 services in respect of 6 departments already identified.
Meanwhile, reviewing the arrangements for conduct of the upcoming Budget session, the CS asked all the administrative secretaries to prepare replies to the questions along with information for possible supplementaries.
Issues pertaining to the status of departmental websites, file monitoring system, infrastructural development in schools and status of various schemes were discussed during the meeting.
