DDC reviews Shivratri, Dastgeer Sahib(RA) Urs arrangements reviewed

Srinagar, Feb 16: Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan convened an officers meeting in the City Thursday to review arrangements regarding forthcoming festivals of Urs Dastgeer Sahib (RA) and Maha Shivratri.
 An official handout said the meeting was also attended by SSP Srinagar, ADC Srinagar, RTO Kashmir, Joint Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Superintending Engineer PHE, SP Traffic, Chief Medical Officer Srinagar besides Secretary J&K Muslim Wakaf Board and General Manager JK SRTC.
 The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to make necessary arrangements for supply of essentials besides adequate water supply, sanitation, medicare, uninterrupted power supply etc. during the Urs days.
 The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the necessary arrangements with regard to forth coming Shivratri besides Fisheries and Horticulture, CAPD departments to keep available fish, walnuts and vegetables available during the Maha Shivratri.
