DYSS Ski course concludes

Srinagar, Feb 16: The Department of Youth Services and Sports first ski course of the season for boys concluded at Gulmarg recently.
In the course around 60 skiers participated in basic, inter-mediate and advance levels. At the end of course examination of the participants was held in two categories of technique and slalom.
It was first course of the season organised by the DYSS which would be followed by girl’s course that will conclude on February 20.
“We just concluded our first course of the season and we will be organising two more courses that will included one exclusively for girls,” said DYSS deputy-director Kashmir, Neelofar Amin.
In basic technique, Ahsan Ahmad Reshi, Rahi-ud-Islam and Khalid Bashir bagged first three positions respectively while in slalom basic, Rahi-ud-Islam, Mohfiz Shakeel and Muzamil Ahad bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In inter-mediate technique, Faisal Javed Jaloo, Tawshif Bashir and Mubashir Rasool bagged first three positions respectively while in inter-mediate Slalom, Sayid Javed Rather, Faisal Kashoo and Syed Junaid bagged first, second, and third places respectively.
In advance technique, Moomin Yousuf bagged first place while Shakir Feroze and Huzaif bagged second and third positions respectively. In advance slalom, M Zubair, Akeel Hamid and Huzaif bagged first three positions respectively.
