All the three goals were scored by the Bank in first half of the play. Bilal Wani opened the account for the Bank by striking in the seventh minute of the match. Sheikh Rizwan came with second goal for the team netting the ball in 15th minute.
The junior side of JK Police could not do well in rest of the first half play and conceded yet another goal in the 23rd minute.
Entering into the second half of the game with confidence, JK Bank could not improve the score on board and the game ended 3-0.
Earlier, the match started at 4 pm instead of 3 pm because the JK Bank management had some reservations about the penal of officials for today’s crucial game.
The Bank officials insisted on conduct of the game through already mentioned 10-member penal of officials. But due to some preoccupations, none of the empanelled individuals were available.
However, the timely intervention by organizing secretary of the tournament, Surinder Singh Bunty, who happens to be resident secretary of the JK Football Association Jammu wing, the Bank team agreed for given penal of officials.
