PC blasts Govt on Lepers’ Colony neglect
Srinagar, Feb 19: Peoples Conference led by Sajad Gani Lone has criticized the government for “failing to do justice to the inhabitants of the Lepers’ Colony in Lal Bazar.”
In a statement, the PC leader from Zadibal, Syed Owais Qadri said: “The inhabitants of the Colony face a lot of issues on account of housing facilities and medical treatment, in addition to their already challenging lives.”
“The government has turned a blind eye towards the plight of Lepers’ Colony,” he said.
“The new planned quarters for the Lepers’ have not been completed as promised earlier.”
