Qirat competition held

Kargil, Feb 19: The Baseej wing of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil organized block level Qirat competition of Qur’an from February 5 to 15 in each and every block of the district.
 According to the organisers, in the final held at Jama Masjid here today, 18 winning participants of block level were invited.
 Apart from Ulemas, many people participated in the event.
 Shaikh Muhammad Issa Hafizi, Imam Jama’at Jamia Masjid Kargil was the chief Guest while as Shaikh Ibrahim Karimi Mualim Qu’ran was the Judge. In the competition, Qari Zahra Banoo of Darul Qur’an Minji bagged the first position while as Zakia Banoo of Darulk Quran Lochum bagged second and Feroz Ahmad Khan of Darul Quran Kargil stood third.
 The winners were awarded by the organisers.
