The convicts said their partner, Shabir Ahmad, tossed the bag to his father. The convicts accepted that there was cash and jewellery in the bag,” said Nazir’s brother, Abdul Rashid, adding police could not yet deliver us the bag which was carrying important accounts and other things.
It is pertinent to mention that police after arresting the trio had said that accused Hilal Ahmad Yatoo son of Ghulam Ahmad Yatoo, Shabir Ahmad Lone son of Aziz Lone and Ghulam Qadir Yatoo son of Karim Yatoo had targeted Nazir to loot the jewellery and cash.
The family of Nazir said they approached the concerned police about the issue. “The concerned police told us that they will further interrogate the convicts and the case will be solved,” Rasheed said.
