Police arrests another mutton seller

Srinagar, Feb 21: Continuing its campaign against black-marketing and hoarding, the police Tuesday claimed to have arrested a mutton seller from old City for selling the meat at allegedly exorbitant prices.
 A police handout said: “Acting on the tip off, Nowhatta Police arrested one meat dealer while he was selling meat on exorbitant rates of  Rs 300/kg at his shop near JK Bank  Nowhatta.”
 A case Vide FIR No: 08/2012 u/s 3/7 under Essential Communities Act is registered against the accused.
 “People are requested to report to the nearest Police Station without hesitation in case someone is found involved in hoarding or black-marketing,” SP north City Shoket Shah said a handout.
