APF commissioner notifies clarifications
Jammu, Feb 22: The Additional Provident Fund Commissioner, Jammu has notified for the information/ clarification of all concerned that the PF Act is applicable to every employee/ worker who is getting salary upto Rs. 10,000 per month but in case of enhancement of salary from Rs. 10,000 to above and if the employee is already the member of the Fund, his PF Contributions are required to be deposited regularly upto the salary of Rs. 10,000 but it is the discretion of the employer to deposit employer’s contribution beyond Rs./ 10,000 and in no case such employee should be deemed as excluded employee.
