We’re trying our best to make it safe: IGP Traffic
Commenting over the issue Inspector General of Police Traffic, Hemant Kumar Lohia said the breakage of speed-breakers at the Sanat Nagar square has come to his notice.
“We are replacing the speed-breakers with the ones having longer and robust nails so that the heavy traffic doesn’t wither them away,” Lohia told Greater Kashmir adding that the department was trying its best to take every measure to avoid mishaps at the square.
“We’ll soon install beacon lights on the square so that traffic movement remains streamlined even for night hours and the risk of accident is avoided,” he said.
"There won't be problem in visibility to see approaching vehicles," he added.
