Jammu, Feb 24: The state cabinet which met here Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ordered transfers and postings of 11 senior officers.
Principal Secretary to Governor RK Goyal has been transferred and posted as Principal Resident Commissioner, New Delhi relieving Additional Resident Commissioner Abdul Maajid Ganai of the additional charge of the post.
Commissioner Secretary Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department Shaleen Kabra has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary Agriculture Production Department vice Navin Kumar Choudhary. Kabra shall also hold the charge of the post of Commissioner Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department till further orders.
Commissioner Secretary Agriculture Production Department Navin Kumar Choudhary has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Governor vice R K Goyal.
Commissioner Secretary Technical Education B A Roniyal holding the additional charge of Commissioner Secretary Revenue is transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary Revenue Department on full time basis.
Farooq Ahmad Factoo awaiting orders of adjustment in GAD is posted as Secretary School Education. He shall take charge of the post on superannuation of Naseem Lankar, Commissioner Secretary School Education, on February 29, 2012.
Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) Vinod Koul has been transferred and posted as Secretary Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports vice B A Roniyal.
OSD in Transport Department Shameem Ahmad Leharwal has been transferred and posted as Director Local Bodies Kashmir vice Muhammad Afzal Bhat whose adjustment order shall be issued subsequently. Special Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department Kuldeep Lal Khajuria has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation vice Satish Chander Sawhney.
Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jammu Satish Chander Sawhney has been transferred and posted as Director Technical Education relieving Jai Pal Singh Director Youth Services and Sports of additional charge of the post. Special Secretary Forests Department Ravinder Kumar Pandita has been transferred and posted as Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) vice Vinod Koul.
Director SKICC G N Qasba has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation relieving Baseer Khan, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar of the additional charge of the post. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Vice Chairman SDA in addition to his own duties, till further orders relieving Dilshad Khan whose adjustment order shall be issued subsequently.
The charge of the post of Director SKICC Srinagar shall be held by Director Tourism Kashmir in addition to his own duties till further orders.
MINOR RESHUFFLE IN MIDDLE RUNG ADMINISTRATION
Meanwhile, in a separate order issued by the government a minor reshuffle was affected in middle-rung administration.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) Surat Singh, Collector Sawlakote Hydroelectric Project is transferred and posted as Collector, Land Acquisition, Economic Reconstruction Agency, Jammu against an available vacancy.
Mathora Masoom, Secretary, Srinagar Development Authority is transferred and posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counseling Centre, Budgam.
Purnima Mittal, Chief Executive Officer Urban Development Agency, Kashmir is transferred and posted as Secretary, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority, Srinagar.
The order adds that Purnima shall hold the additional charge of the post of Collector, LAWDA. Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nobra is transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Tourism, Jammu against an available vacancy.
Showkat Ahmad Rather, Development Officer, Women's Development Corporation, Srinagar is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Urban Development Agency, Kashmir.
Muhammad Subhan Lone, Deputy Director, Rural Sanitation, Srinagar is transferred and posted as Development Officer, Women's Development Corporation, Srinagar.
Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Budgam is transferred and posted as Secretary, Srinagar Development Authority.
Farooq Ahmad Shah, Development Officer (Non-Textile), Handicraft, Kashmir, under orders of transfer as Assistant Commissioner Development, Pulwama shall continue to work as Development Officer (Non-Textile), Handicraft, Kashmir.
MA Dar, Project Officer, Water-shed,Pulwama, under orders of transfer as Assistant Commissioner Development, Srinagar/Ganderbal shall continue to work as Project Officer, Watershed Pulwama.
Meanwhile, Nazim Zai Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar shall hold the additional charge of the post of Collector, Land Acquisition, Circular Road Project, Srinagar, till further orders.
Ghanshyam Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ramban shall hold the additional charge of the posts of Collector, Sawlakote, Hydroelectric Project and Collector, Land Acquisition, Hydroelectric Project, Baghliar, till further orders.
