J&K RTI Movement organizes workshop
Baramulla, Feb 25: In order to sensitize the teachers about using Right to Information Act, J&K RTI Movement organized a workshop at Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla today. The workshop was attended by teachers from the district. Convener of J&K RTI Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat said: “It was the role of Government to create awareness among masses under section 23 of J&K RTI Act 2009 but the Government is not creating awareness among people on RTI.” Senior RTI activist Dr Sheikh Ghulam Rasool said that teachers are the nation builders and they can help make students literate about RTI. Others who spoke include Bilal Ahmad and advocate Shahid Ahmad.
