Nowgam Firing incident

Srinagar, Feb 28: Police today claimed that they have arrested the person involved shooting a youth last night in Nowgam area of the City.
 Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) , Shaliender Mishra said police arrested  Arzoo Bhat of Nowgam, who allegedly fired upon Syed Ahmed Mir of Charlipora Nowgam last night.
 He said that an FIR No. 34/2012 u/s 3/25 of Indian Arms Act, 307 and  324  of RPC has been registered in police station regarding the case.
 “Further investigations are on,” he said.
