Pulwama, Feb 3: An encounter broke out in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening, police said.
A police official told Greater Kashmir that soldiers of 55 RR and SOG personnel cordoned off Wadoora Lassipora this evening and launched searches. “Militants present there opened fire on the search party which was retaliated triggering an encounter,” he said. “ The gunfight was on when reports last came in.”
