PDD contribution

In previous edition of GK 24/01/2012, there was a good response from Syed Pirzada Hidayatullah, President JKEEGA, Power Development Department) to the article ‘Power Policing’. Nobody in administration should interfere in their work as they have been doing it for 100 years especially past two decades for the people of Kashmir. PDD has performed its duty during turbulent times in Kashmir, be it militancy, earthquake or snowfall. In my knowledge people of Kashmir never appreciated the department for their services instead we always held them responsible for power failure. Times have changed when people of Kashmir need to realise that importance of those people who work for us in such harsh conditions and even risking their lives for people of Kashmir. In comparison to England, the PDD people in valley face huge task ahead of them and they have been doing it for several years now. Let's admire their work.
