2 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Feb 5: Two persons were injured in separate road accidents in Kashmir today.
 A police spokesman in a statement said a vehicle (JK03A/6568) hit and injured Rahiya Tariq daughter of Tariq Ahmad Shah resident of Kulgam at Kerwar, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
 Police said in another incident an ambulance (JK04/9182) met with an accident at Poshkar village in Ganderbal resulting in injuries to the Ambulance driver Muhammad Yousuf Ahanger son of Abdul Rehman resident of Khanam. The injured was shifted to hospital.

MAN DIES
 Police said Bilal Ahmad Ganie son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Paripora, Magam was found in unconscious state near Lala Rukh Hotel here. He was shifted to SMHS hospital where he died. Kothi Bagh Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in the case.  

GIRL ATTEMPTS SUICIDE
 Police said a girl (name with held) resident of Manigam in Baramulla district consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was admitted in Sub District Hospital, Kreeri.  She was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered and investigations taken up.
