Srinagar, Feb 5: Here is some good news for the Valley students. Beeco Stationers, Lal Chowk, here has introduced new Casio Electronic Dictionary in the market. Giving details about the product, proprietor, Beeco Stationers, Imtiyaz Bashir said the eDictionaries are compact and look like mini laptops with a display and a QWERTY keyboard.
The product contains a complete oxford dictionary, which you can use to find the word meanings, check spellings, search for a word using keywords, etc.
“Further, it is easy to use,” he said. He said the dictionary responds in real time, as one types. Other features of the product include: smooth keypad just like the one on the Casio Calculators. For easy navigation there are arrow keys, delete, enter and escape keys too.
Giving some tips how to use this eDictionaries, Imtiyaz said: “Starting the Ex-word gives options to search headword, example and phrase from multi dictionary search. Other options include Oxford advance learner’s thesaurus, Oxford collocation dictionary for students of English, Oxford idioms Dictionary for learners of English, Oxford Learners word finder dictionary and calculator.”
“Using the marker key we could highlight the keywords definition etc and save it to the vocabulary list, for future reference.” Pertinently, there are two modes of Casio electronic dictionary available with the Beeco Stationers: EW B100C is priced at Rs 7,995 and EW B2OOOC at Rs 14995.
Further the Beeco Stationers is providing discount of 10 percent on the dictionaries.
