Poor EVDO service irks Ganderbal customers
Srinagar, Feb 5: Ganderbal subscribers of EVDO today complained poor internet service by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.
The subscribers said the erratic service of internet data card (EVDO) has been causing a lot of inconvenience to them. Nisar Ahmad of Ganderbal (Lar), a subscriber, said that despite his repeated complaints with the company, “my problem has not been addressed.”
He said that he had raised the issue with the company both through phone and via e-mail. “After my repeated persuasion I was asked to call 210444 but to no avail.”
The subscribers said despite their complaints, the services continued to be erratic for last two months.
The subscribers said even as many a time they were assured that the service will improve, “but the assurances have turned hollow.”
The subscribers threatened to approach courts against the company, if the latter failed to improve the service of its internet device EVDO.
Despite repeated attempts, no senior official of BSNL could be contacted for comment.
