Protesters criticized the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for allegedly shielding the corrupt ministers’.
KDYW president Harasis Singh rued that it was very shameful that the son of Education Minister was found involved in unfair means in exams.
He also appealed UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi to intervene in the matter and take action against the erring ministers of Congress party in JK.
An RTI activist Idrees-Ul-Haq Baig said that it was injustice with the entire student community. Referring to recently declared results of 12th class, in which Peerzada’s son got distinction, Baig said that how  a student who was not even able to pass 10th class examination on his own has secured a distinction in 12th class board exams.
They said both the ministers should be immediately dropped from the state cabinet otherwise the student community would launch a state wide agitation.
