Proposed elevated expressway plan reviewed

Srinagar, Feb 8: Divisional Commissioner, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon Wednesday reviewed the ongoing work to pave way for proposed flyover/elevated expressway corridor between Jehangir Chowk and Natipora.
 Dr Samoon was accompanied by Vice Chairperson, Srinagar Development Authority, Dilshad Khan, Engineers of ERA. 
 “The Divisional Commissioner was apprised that the proposed Flyover will have the take off point at Jahangir Chowk and will pass through the Magarmal Bagh, Iqbal Park, Solina, Rambagh and will have two points of culmination at Natipora Chowk and at Barzulla Bridge. “Besides at Bakshi Stadium Chowk, a left turn upward ramp from Jawahar Nagar road to Rambagh and downward ramp for traffic coming from Rambagh will be connected to the proposed elevated Expressway Corridor,” an official handout said.
