Ahmad Nagar awaits LPG distribution
Srinagar, Jan 14: Residents of Ahmad Nagar Saturday complained of cooking gas shortage in their area.
A delegation of residents told GK that from the last three weeks no LPG supply has been sent to the area. "Dealer of Hindustan Petroleum cylinders used to send one vehicle every Sunday to our locality but now the move has been stopped,” they said.
"We stand in queues on every Sunday in this chilling cold with the hope that the truck carrying cylinders will come, but to no avail," they added.
They appealed District Development Commissioner, Srinagar Baseer Ahmed Khan to look into the matter.
Pertinently just yesterday the residents of Karan Nagar had pitched similar complaints.
