Don't criticize
I read Jaweria Khurshid's article about power crisis. Holding CM responsible for power crisis is strange. What is the need to demean and disrespect Omar and laud Azad Sahab and Mufti Sahab for providing power supply. Jaweria seems to forget that hydro projects under NHPC are not Omar's fault it was done before him. Why did not the earlier two CMs retain authority over NHPC-run hydro projects during their tenure when situation in vale was normal. We Kashmiris have a fault that we don't cooperate with anyone. We want everything in a moment. I also know how much one suffers during winter in Kashmir without power supply. But give him a break, he needs our cooperation not our taunts. He is not an absolute authority. This government is run under some instructions from the centre. His hands are cuffed, but still he is doing everything possible to provide basic necessities like power, water, food to people. We ought to understand he doesn't have a magic wand to set everything right in a blink. He is the only honest CM, Kashmir ever had.
