Zadibal shrine to get facelift

Srinagar, Jan 20: The shrine of Hazrat Mir Shamas-ud-Din Iraqi (RA) at Zadibal in Shaher-e-Khaas will soon get a facelift, officials said.
They said the development came forth following a meeting between Minister for Animal/Sheep
Husbandry, Science & Technology and Information Technology Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi and his Cabinet colleague and Tourism Minister Nawang Rigzin Jora Minister.
“The duo discussed detail the demand for construction/improvement of Asthan Sharief Hazrat Mir Shamas- ud-din Araqi (RA) at Zadibal, Srinagar in view of its religious and cultural importance,” they said. “The Tourism Minister assured that steps for construction/ improvement of the shrine will be taken on priority so that the aspirations of the people are fulfilled for which they had been clamouring.”
