Omar visits Mians residence, conveys grief

Jammu, Jan 23: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Monday afternoon visited Mians residence here and conveyed his sorrow to Mian Bashir Ahmad and Forest and Environment Minister, Mian Altaf Ahmad over the demise of their dear one. The daughter of Mian Bashir Ahmad and sister of Mian Altaf Ahmad Minister for Forest and Environment passed away here in a tragic road accident.
Omar Abdullah conveyed his sympathy and solidarity to the bereaved family, consoled them, offered Fateha and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
FPF KASHMIR CONDOLES DEMISE
The Forest Protection Force Kashmir has condoled the demise of the sister of Minister for Forest and Environment, Mian Altaf.
In a condolence meeting held at the FPF Headquarters at Shivpora Srinagar with its Joint Director Kashmir in chair, the participants including Deputy Directors of FPF Kashmir and other officers and staff members expressed solidarity with the bereaved and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
They also prayed for courage to the members of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was held at Divisional Forest Office Complex Shopian in which the participants expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the sister of Minister for Forest and Environment, Mian Altaf. 
The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner Shopian, Dr. M S Sood, Divisional Forest Officer Shopian, Humayoun Kabir Qadri, SP Shopian, Sheikh Mumtaz Ahmad, respectables of the area, district president Non-gazetted Forest Officer Shopian District and staff of Forest Division Shopian.
