Hussaini Mushairra held

Srinagar, Jan 25: A daylong  Hussaini (AS) Mushera  was hosted Wednesday by Hussaini Welfare Organisation Hassan Abad  in collaboration  with J&K Cultural Academy Srinagar at Hotel Burj, Khanyar in Shaher-e-Khaas.
 Professor Rehman Rahi  chaired the event while those who spoke  on the occasion include Professor Muhammad Zaman Azurda, Dr Shabib Rizvi, Rafiq Raaz, Ghulam Nabi Nazir, Fayaz Teelgami, Dr Aziz Hajani, Zameer Ansari, Professor Syed Raza, Showkat Ansari, Shair Ali Mashgool, Sarwar Hashmi, Professor Shad Ramzan, Syed Abass Jowhar, Mir Shabir Ahmad, Imdad Saqi and Syed Muhammad Masroof.
 On this occasion, prominent poet Showkat Ansari's book “Zakhm-I-Jigar”(a collection of Urdu and Kashmiri Navahs) was released while Sarwar Hashmi read a paper about the book.
