Revoke ban
More than a year has passed since the authorities banned the Short Messaging Service (SMS) in Jammu and Kashmir. We neither see government taking any step to revoke ban on SMS here nor do we see any media especially local media talking about it. Or it’s a simple way of government to disturb people. When other states enjoy SMS packages which go very low on cost, we remain alienated. Revoking ban on SMS will benefit common people of Jammu & Kashmir. What is government waiting for?
