4 shops gutted in Kangan

Kangan, Jan 28: Four shops were gutted in a devastating fire at Kangan market here on Friday night.
Reports said the fire broke out from an electronic shop at main market and engulfed three adjoining shops. Meanwhile, the affected persons have demanded compensation. The locals demanded more fire tenders in the town.
ADC Ganderbal and Assistant Director Fire and Emergency Department visited the spot and assured compensation to the fire victims. Locals have hailed the role of police and 24 RR for their timely intervention in controlling fire.
