Rs17 cr tourism projects for Leh

Jammu, Jan 2: The centre has sanctioned three development projects for upgradation and development of tourism infrastructure in Leh-Ladakh.
Out of total Rs 17 crore sanctioned under the projects, the state has already received the first instalment of Rs 3.39 crore to take up the work under first phase of the project envisaging creation of different type of tourism promotion works including, development of Lake circuit connecting Pangong, Tsomoriri and Tsokar lakes. This, according to an official statement, was stated by the Minister for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora while chairing Leh Development Authority (LDA) meeting, held here today.
