HAIDAR COLONY IN MESS
WE the residents of Haidar Colony Soura like to attract the attention of authorities towards the pathetic state-of-the-affairs of our main Factory Road which has turned into slush due to its non restoration after pipe laying in the area.
At first a drain was constructed for a part of the Factory Road length and for the rest, a pipe was laid. Now an infructuous expenditure has been incurred by dismantling the newly constructed drain and instead, pipe was laid for this stretch too and that too without the restoration of road surface to make it motorable.
The worst condition is of Lane No 3, which is turned to mini-lake due to its depressed portion filled with water leaked from the burst pipes and also the melting snow.
This link road has been left out without timely laying of pipes. Even long boots are not an answer and the locals have to encroach upon the neighbours’ privacy to reach their respective homes.
We appeal the authorities for early restoration of the road stretches to make our houses accessible.
