JK needs leader to change people’s destiny: Dr Sameer Koul

GK NEWS NETWORK

Jammu, Jan 29:  Senior PDP leader Dr Sameer Koul on Sunday said that state needs a leader who could change the destiny of common masses.
“If we want to safeguard the future of coming generations, present government has to be changed. JK needs a leader who can change the destiny of common masses,” Dr Koul said while addressing a gathering here.
“During its three years rule PDP brought prosperity in the state but at present our state is lagging behind in every sphere of life. Three year rule of PDP was just a trailer of people friendly government. That was era of peace and stability. Every section of the population is suffering today. Employees are on roads demanding DA and pending arrears and adhocism is the order of the day. Waters of state have been sold but there is no electricity for the people,” he said. “Today conditions are same as these were 4 to 5 decades ago. There is no accountability on part of the state government and developmental works have been put on hold. The Chief Minister of the state owns car worth Rs 90 lakhs and people are suffering for want of basic necessities.”
“There is no representation of Sikhs and Kashmiri Pandits in the present dispensation and there are complaints of discrimination from different regions of the state,” Dr Koul said.
PDP is the party of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh not of a particular region, he added.
