4 Community, Facilitation Centres to come up in Amira Kadal: Sogami
Srinagar, Jan 30: Minister of State for Home & H&UDD Nasir Sogami said that work on two Community Centres and two Facilitation Centres at Mehjoor Nagar, Chanapora, Chek Methan and KP Bagh in Amira Kadal will be taken up for execution shortly, an official handout said.
It said the land for setting up of these centres has been identified.
This all was revealed by the Minister during his tour of his Amira Kadal constituency.
District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Director Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, Afzal Bhat, SE, PHE, and senior engineers of R&B, PHE SMC, UEED and PDD also accompanied the Minister.
During his visit, the Minister issued on-the-spot instructions to SMC to take up drainage works at Gurdwara Lane and B Ed College lane in Mehjoor Nagar as well drains at Rambagh and Rahim Bagh to bring relief to the people residing in these localities.
He also asked Irrigation & Flood Control Department to speed up work of beautification of Jhelum bund near Amira Kadal.
