HDFC Bank in expansion mood
Opens 10th branch in Jammu division

Udhampur, Jan 30: HDFC Bank, the second-largest private bank in the country, today opened a branch at Udhampur, taking its branch tally in Jammu division to 10.
With this, the Bank now has a network of 23 branches and 62 ATMs in Jammu & Kashmir, it said in a statement.
The branch was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Pandurang K Pole.
Others present on the occasion included Zubair Iqbal, Vice President, HDFC Bank, Sachin Mahajan, Iftikhar Ahmed & Showket Nahvi, Cluster Heads, HDFC Bank.
Speaking from Mumbai, Navin Puri, Country Head, Branch Banking, HDFC Bank, said: “With this branch in Janipur, we have established our presence in one of those few localities where we were absent till date. With our rapidly expanding branch network, we are now present at every nook and corner of Jammu, keeping in mind customer convenience and business opportunities. We will strive to keep providing world-class service to the people of Srinagar.”
Amongst the private banks, HDFC Bank currently has the largest network of branches in the state. Deputy Commissioner appreciated the growth and expansion plans of the bank and bringing world class services to the door steps of the people.
The new branch will offer its customers world-class banking services under one roof ranging from basic services such as Savings Account, Fixed Deposits, Current Account, Mutual Funds, Insurance, Working Capital, Apple Fianance,Tractor Loans, Two-wheeler loan, Auto loan, Commercial vehicles to sophisticated direct access banking channels such as ATM, PhoneBanking, NetBanking and HDFC Bank International Credit and Debit Cards.
