Helicopter service provider for Amarnath yatra in dock
Pilgrims appeal Governor
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 30: A delegation of Amarnath pilgrims today accused the helicopter service provider for yatra of black-marketing of tickets and dishonouring the tickets issued through Valley-based travel agents.
“I have purchased a travel package from a local travel agent which includes the heli trip from Baltal to Amarnath shrine. When we reached Baltal, we were made to wait for a whole day by the management of Sumit Aviation- helicopter service provider for yatra for we had been given the tickets by the local travel agent,” A Khanna, of Delhi flanked by other pilgrims told Greater Kashmir.
“We appeal to Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, NN Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene in the matter, so that pilgrims don’t face any inconvenience at Baltal,” they said.
