Gymkhana Reds crush AI Dalgate by 10 wkts
SDA DRABU CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, July 9: In the ongoing SDA Drabu T20 Cricket Tournament, two matches were played at TRC ground here on Monday.
In the first match of the day, Kashmir Gymkhana Reds outplayed Abid-ul-Islam (AI) Dalgate by 10 wickets. Batting first, AI Dalgate were bundled out for 99 runs only. Waseem Raza took five wickets while Sagar took three for Gymkhana Reds.
In reply, Gymkhana Reds opening pair Arshad and Sajad hammered AI bowlers all over the park and achieved requited target in 7.3 overs for their team. Gymkhana won by 10 wickets. Sajad with unbeaten 52 and Arshad with unbeaten 49 were highest scorers for them.
In the second match, Sangam Blues defeated Budgam-XI by five wickets. Batting first, Budgam Blues were bundled out for 142 runs. Bilal Ahmad with 23 were highest scorer for them while Mudasir took two wickets for Sangam Blues.
In reply, Sangam Blues achieved required target in 18 overs for the loss of five wickets. Umer Nisar with 47 and Umair with unbeaten 35 were highest scorers for them.
