Sajid to head India's U-15 team in Madrid

Srinagar, July 9: After becoming first ever football coach from State to lead any Indian team in International level, Sajid Yousuf Dar has achieved another milestone in coaching arena after being selected as coach of Under-15 team that is scheduled to play in Madrid Spain.
 Sajid has been selected as coach by All India Football Federation for U-15 boys Indian football team. The team will be participating in Coca Cola Youth Football Competition to be held in Madrid, Spain from July 12.
 Sajid is the only football coach of the JK having the experience of international level competitions, before this he was the head coach of Indian U-14 National football team in recently held AFC U-14 football festival at Kathmandu, Nepal.
 Sajid, who is in Mumbai with his team said, “ It is great thing for our team that we are visiting to the place which recently has won the European Championship, for us it will be a great experience and hopefully we can learn many more things. As far as our team is concerned we want that our boys should enjoy their play in Madrid and I am looking forward to see my players to achieve something out from this tour”.
 “I am also thankful to AIFF for keeping faith on me and appointing me as a coach of the team and at the same time I am also thankful to Kashmir University authorities for allowing me to take up the assignment,” said Sajid who work as Kashmir University coach.
 Sajid is qualified football coach and the only international football coach of JK, he has done his diploma in football from NIS Patiala after that he has also completed his AFC "C, B, A" Level coaching courses.
 Sajid is a son of a Muhammad Yousuf Dar who has been the first senior international footballer and first professional footballer played for Muhammedan Sporting Kolkata in seventies.
