Young Boys Nadihal beat Royal Challengers

Baramulla, July 9: Young Boys Nadihal beat Royal Challengers Cricket Club by 11 runs in the Champions trophy cricket final played at Nadihal Rafiabad Sports ground here on Sunday.
Earlier Young Boys won the toss and elected to bat first Young boys Nadihal were all out on 110 runs in 19 overs Capitan Muhammad Hussain was top scorer with 39 runs.
Chasing a victory target of 111, Royal Challengers were bundled out on 99 runs in the 20th over at one stage Royals were looking good but then a great bowling performance by Mubashir Lone and Khursheed war made it hard for royals as both the bowlers took 3 wickets each and Ajaz Ahmad got 2 for Royals Challengers. Khurshid War was declared man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance while Mubashir Lone was declared man of the series.
The second final of the day was played here in Chinar Cricket Ground Choora between Thindma-X1 and Choora Tigers. Batting first, Tigers were bundled out on 74 runs in 14 overs.
In reply, Thindma-XI achieved the required target of 75 runs in 14.5 overs. Ashfaq Mir took three wickets while Irfan Ahmad who scored 21 runs and took one wicket was declared man of the match.
