PFL condemns raids on Altaf’s house

Srinagar, July 10: The Peoples’ Freedom League secretary general Muhammad Rafiq Ganai on Tuesday strongly condemned the raids on the residence of its chief organizer Muhammad Altaf Khan by the forces for the past two days.
 In a statement, Ganai said during these raids the armed forces harassed the inmates of house. “Altaf is a political leader and has been carrying out peaceful political activities as an office-bearer of League for the past several years,” he said, adding that his (Altaf’s) wife has recently given birth to a female baby and she is presently undergoing treatment at L D Hospital here.”
